Evening Adult Discusion Group "Bad Girls of the Bible", by Barbara Essex
We will be reading and discussing Bad Girls of the Bible which looks at 12 different women in the Bible, not all of great fame or necessarily of good reputation, but all significant people in our Scripture stories. The book raises issues about fundamental human situations - betrayal, jealousy, unfulfilled needs, deception, misunderstanding, rejection and sacrifice.The Faith Formation group will meet twice a month or Tuesday evenings from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. All are welcome. Each meeting will cover a different story from the Bible, so come when you can!
Sundays in Lent, Feb. 21st - March 28th Faithfully Facing Dying
Sunday adult study for Lent will be held after Sunday morning services. The study will look at issues of end-of-life decisions and care, offering a faith perspective on life and on death, as well as how we think about decisions around death, whether our own or that of loved ones.Join us for the six Sunday mornings in Lent for a time of learning and discussing faithfully facing dying.
