Have-a-Heart Sunday Dinners for Aids Patients |
What you would need to do:
Cook at meal for about 6 people (It can be cooked the day before)
Place it in discardable containers
Deliver it any time between about 12:00 and 3:00 p.m. on the designated Sunday(Directions available)

The Community Thrift Shop | Daytime volunteers are needed periodically to put tags on clothes and deliver items to the shop in Midland Park. Contact the church for further information.
The Thrift Shop is also now accepting donations of small furniture and will pick it up. Ongoing thrift shop needs include clothing, hats and shoes, handbags, jewelry, costumes, draperies, bed linens, luggage, toys and games, sports equipment, baby equipment, paperback books an bric-a-brac. All items should be clean and in very good condition.

There is always a bin in the narthex for your donations!
How much can you give a week to feed a family? If you say $2.00, you can buy a can of spagetti and meatballs each week when you shop - or a box of cereal every other week - then when you eat your own meal, you can imagine another family as they enjoy the food that you have provided.
Remember to include the hungry in your prayers - and in your plans. If you donate a dinner for the homeless, will your family go hungry? If you don't, will someone else?

Blood is in very short supply this summer, especially with increased restrictions on donors.
