Paramus UCC is about...
Helping Others

Haiti Earthquake Relief

We raised over $1000 for Haiti Earthquake Relief during our three special Sunday offerings. We have also been preparing hygene kits.

Since the needs will continue for months and even years, we will designate our monthly communion offering to this special effort.

Our offerings will go to help our Haitian sisters and brothers rebild their lives, starting with clean water and shelter and then helping to rebuild schoools and communities.

Souper Bowl Sunday

Our Sunday School youth once again took money and contributions of soup for their Souper Bowl Sunday community outreach project. All donations are contributed to the Bergen County Center for Food Action. Thank you, everyone, for your generous support!

The Christmas Mitten Tree

...filled to overflowing and more with warm clothing - mittens, scarves, hand-knit hats, and coats, for donation to the local shelter for the homeless.

Operation Santa Claus

Presents for the children of Bergen County, who would have nothing without these gifts

Special Food Drives

The food donation bin at PCC is always filling up as members and friends bring in items.

We can be proud that Paramus Congregational Church, with lots of support from our neighbors and friends, has always been active in feeding the hungry.

Sunday School Donation
Heifer International

The Children's Day offering project this year was Heifer International. The children raised enough funds to purchase a share of a water buffalo, a llama and a pig, Congratuations to our youth for a great job!

Blanket Sunday

The Mother's Day Blanket Sunday donation raised funds for 100 blankets for families to be used in time of disaster. These Blankets are used not only as blankets for warmth, but often are made into tents and used as shelter as well.

Confirmation Class Sleep-Out for the Homeless
The Confirmation Class raised over $1,000 dollars in their sleep-out for the Hungry. The Center for Food Action in New Jersey sent a representative to the church to accept the check from the young people.
